Free Family pre-Thanksgiving dinner and Testimony

I sent out an email with this picture attatched. But I've gotten word that the picture didn't come through. So...Here it is! Avery's surgery is on June 6th. We are very nerveous about it...well...i am very nerveous about it. I'm going to miss that little 6th toe. but as you can see, we have proof for Avery that he did have it. Anyway. keep him in your prayers when it comes time for him to go under the knife.

Ryan fed Avery his lunch! Sweet Potatoes and apples. And as with any baby eating food, it's ALL over the place!
Avery is now 8 months and 5 days old. He is on the verge of crawling and he is navigating himself everywhere. He is a rollie-pollie, tummy scootin' baby. And of course with all the traveling on the floor comes the falls, bumps and bruises. Ryan set Avery on the couch and walked away for a second...and I was across the room. I saw Avery go for the edge of the couch, and in slow motion he fell right on his head. well it wasn't slow motion, but looking back now it sure seemed like it. but it happened fast enough that i didn't quite reach him in time. i grabbed his wrist just has he landed on his head. we will be sure not to leave him on the couch alone anymore. He sure is a tough resiliant baby. cried for a few seconds and was back to play time.
we sure do love this wonderful little boy! he brings such joy to our lives. (and i'm saying this after staying up all night with him, i really do love him, despite the fact that i'm really tired.)
