Promoterz - the answer for the small business owner

Dave and I and Dan Crites and Chris Coberly have been working hard on several projects. One of them is out there now to check out, PromoterZ (pronounced promoters). It is a system to help small businesses develop a better relationship with their customers and encourage customer referrals without taking much time from the business owner.

Anyway, I thought I would post about it here for two reasons. One it might be fun for you to go check out the site. The animations are done by Dave (yeah!) and if you watch the quick tour you can hear Dave too!

The other reason is that it is good to have another site link to your site. So seems like this is a good place to do that. So to check it out go to http://promoterz.com. Let us know what you think.

We have several small businesses using it right now and many more just signing up including tests for Subway for Sport Clips. We are also working with others in medical, dental, retail and other food places and it looks like we might even use it for a major airline.

Anyway, check it out and let us know what you think, and if the site makes sense to you.

OK, they did such a great shot posing I just had to see if I could put them into the "Prisoner of Azkaban" layout. Turned out nicely.

Harry Potter Fever Strikes Mesa

Becca was told she would get $5 if she did her hair like Princess Leia from Star Wars while waiting in line to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter 4. She and Mike and Daniel were all going. This is the posed shot they picked. It is great to see them try to not smile!

Utah leaves and Arizona fall...best of both worlds

Utah leaves and Arizona fall...best of both worlds

What a sweetie that Melinda is. She sent her family this notice "Happy Fall! I picke these up ont he way back from school and thought I would share them with you! Ü Love ya, Melinda"
The leaves were great. And huge! The biggest one (not shown here) is 12 inches across! But the best part was we got to have some of Melinda in our home. To think of us and sent it was great. So we are sharing her with all of you.
Adam wanted to take a leaf outside and watch it fall. Here is a movie of him doing just that!
Thanks Melinda!

Michael's last High School cross country run

Michael's last High School cross country run

Michael did great at the State Cross Country meet. You can see a couple of clips of him here. What a group of runners and a wonderfully difficult course. Michael ran with confidence and strength and I believe ran his best race ever. Congratulations. Unfortunately for Mountain View the top runner was sick and the second runner was also dragging...so the top two finished like 4 and 5 rather than 1 and 2 so their hopes of a repeat championship didn't happen. But there is great hope as the number one finisher for Mountainview was a freshman! Watching Michael run has been a great inspiration to go after a goal and work hard. Thanks Mike!

Great day to wear red...

(click on the picture to see the finish)
"What a great day to wear red" were the words we heard from the coaches and others as Mountainview took first in the region for both men and women's cross country. Our favorite runner, Mike, finished 15th overall, 7th for Mountainview...so although he didn't score for the team he added points to the other teams scores by displacing their runners. 7 of the first 15 finishers were from Mountainview. For those that don't understand cross country (the scoring...not why you would run!) the team with the lowest score for their first five runners wins. You get points based on which number you finish. So a perfect score is 15, that is you have guys that finish 1st through 5th 1+2+3+4+5=15. You can have 7 on your team. Next week at 10am is the State Cross Country meet. Mountain View won it last year for the first time. It will be very close but we think they will take it again! Go Mike!

Adam's Apple Song

Adam showed me a picture he had colored that had a song on it about apples. Adam doesn't sing out loud for us very often. So when he sang I asked if I could record him. He was happy about that so click on the picture to see/hear it!

Mike extends his Cross Country Season!

Mike extends his Cross Country Season!

Saturday morning was the Mesa City Cross Country Meet. It is a different meet where rather than running the entire team together they run all the seniors together, juniors together, etc.
It is also the final meet for those that are not part of the top 7 on the team, that will continue on to regionals and finally state.
Mike ran great! He beat his previous best time on this course by more than a minute. When all had run, Michael had the fourth fastest time on the team! His previous best finish put him in at 9th.
His first words to me after he finished were..."I scored for the team". That is the way he runs on the field and in our family!
So next Saturday he runs the same course for Regionals and the following Saturday he runs for the team seeking to win the state championship, it will be very close.
Nice time to peak Mike!

Diana made her white bread the other day and included a loaf of cinnamon. The entire loaf was consumed this morning. You just can't buy this kind of thing. Thanks Diana!
