Snow and glow in February

Snow and glow in February

We had a great trip for the 50th celebration for Diana's parents, Ron & Ann Jamison. We had such a great time in such a short visit. The snow was like disneyland for the kids. We loved being with all of you.

Here are the boys working on the 12-15 foot high snow in the Jamison's backyard!

Here are some pictures from the trip and a few of the 50th.

There are a few videos in there too. One has Nate giving Jake a buzz...

Brett Arrives in Phoenix!

Brett made it safely to Phoenix. In addition to all of us--that we know he was dying to see--Aisling surprised him. See if you can figure out who he was more excited to see...

Wii response...

I had to share this video of the kids opening up the Wii on Christmas morning. Wow is all I can say! Talk about a hit.

Free4All's First Production!

With the help of Grandma and Grandpa Jamison we built a marionette theater and about 12 marionettes for Christmas. Here is the first production. Script was by Becca...watch the movie and you can see all the credits at the end. They did great!

Ok, so for Christmas Santa only gave our family one gift, (now realize that mom and dad gave plenty, this is just from Santa) and that one gift contained a Wii!!! The best part of it was that we hadn't even asked for it, i mean sure we had voiced that we would like to have it, but that was a long time ago, and low and behold, we got it!!! We all now have our very own "Mii" characters and that includes my mom and dad! The whole family plays, but mostly the younger boys take over with all their friends. Dad is of course the master of all, he seems to know all the techniques that you need to do in order to win, and he wins all the time!!! (except in Boxing.....Ü) Daniel is the master Bowler because he has gone "pro", Andrew is pretty good at tennis,(i secretly think that it is because he is a lefty, but that is just me), Josh is pretty much good at every thing because he can laugh about it Ü, Melinda is great at all the mini games, and of course, Dad and Jopes are just Pro's all around with out even trying, mom,....well....of the few times that she has played it with me...she pretty much kick my trash at every mini game we played, and Adam, Adam loves to do bowling and this cow racing game, both of which he can beat me at too!!! Well, i thought that i would just inform you all on what is going on 24/7 at our house!! luv ya all!

Grandview II ward Varsity Scouts "Hanging Out"...

Grandview II ward Varsity Scouts "Hanging Out"...

On a beautiful morning in November...this last Saturday, Daniel and I went Rappelling with the varsity scouts from our teacher's quorum. Here is Daniel. You can see more pictures here (there is even a movie of Daniel coming down at the end)

Fall Fun

I have had a wonderful first half of November! With the help of the Hord family, I was able to fly down to AZ and surprise my family on the 1st. On Friday, I went on the Father/Daughter campout with my Dad and sister (you can see a picture of them with some of the YUMMY teryaki sauce we picked up on the way). It was fun to spend time with my family and visit my home ward (and mission prep class...it is the BEST). Joseph and Elizabeth Hord were also down there that weekend (trying out for the Easter Pageant). The three of us flew back to Salt Lake on the same flight and got lunch together (Wendy's) after arriving back in Provo.

This past weekend, Becca and Reid were able to fly out for a visit. Some family friends hosted a baby shower for Becca, and it was a lot of fun. Reid's mom did the food, so of course it was amazing, and they have a lot of great people there. They also had a really fun and creative activity at the shower. There were several plain white onesies and special fabric markers for people to use in decorating them! It was great! I took a couple pictures of Lauren's masterpiece. Ü

Today, I got to go with Becca to the BYU Museum of Art (one of our favorite places to be...lots of good memories Ü). You can see a picture of us in front of the building that a nice girl (enjoying her lunch on a bench nearby) was nice enough to take for us. We looked at almost everything in the building, and we also got to visit briefly with two of her (well, our) former art history professors. We then headed across the street to meet up with Reid for lunch and ice cream (delicious, of course!) at the BYU Creamery. Happy day! ...And a beautiful one. I am also including a couple shots of the fall leaves and blue sky taken today in the courtyard of my building.

I hope you are all having a fun fall!

Halloween: Cowgirl and Indian

My friend and roommate Jennifer and I dressed up for Halloween and then had fun taking several pictures. We hope you enjoy them too. Ü

Grand Canyon, Grand Vistas, Grandchildren, oh my...

Here are some pictures from Grandpa over the last little while.
I don't have a description of the first several but starting with the Grand Canyon we have:
"The first 2 are on the North rim as we came down to see you.
The second 6 are of a trip to Kent's Lake and several of nearby Anderson Meadow lake with fish jumping all on Beaver Mountain and hour and a half from Paragonah.
The last six are of the Rexburg Temple, Moose creek where we camped for several days and went to Church at the chapel near Mac's Inn and Mesa Falls on Henry's fork of the snake river."

Labor Day Quick Trip

Labor Day Quick Trip

Diana and Melinda drove up to Utah to move Melinda in to her new digs. Joseph was able to come down from Rexburg with his Uncle Kirt and Aunt Brenda and surprise them. They had a great time. They spent the night in Paragonah on the way up and got to see the new trailer and John and Jen and gang. Then they moved Melinda in and had a party with the other free gangs up there. Then Sunday night they were with the Jamison cousins. Here are the pictures.

In Denmark!

In Denmark!

Dear Family,
Well I am in Denmark now. I don't have much time, but I am enjoying myself.
My trainer is called Elder Dixon and we are going to serve in Slagelse in Sjælen (island where København is in). He is showing me around. He seems really awesome.
Pastries are amazing. It does rain a lot here. I love the gospel!

New Temple Presidents Announced - Jamison's to Panama!

New Temple Presidents Announced - Jamison's to Panama!

Congratulations to Diana and her parents. They received a phone call from Pres. Hinckley calling them to be Temple President for the nearly finished Panama City Temple. Woohoo! (I have also attached the world map of temples with all the new temple presidents)
This is what the church news had to say:
Ronald Dee Jamison, 76, Highland 27th Ward, Highland Utah West Stake; Panama City Panama Temple (under construction). President Jamison's wife, Mary Ann Wood Jamison, will serve as temple matron. He is executive secretary for the Europe West Area; former Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission president, temple ordinance worker and bishop. Retired professor of mathematics at Brigham Young University. Born in Venice, Calif., to Clarence Edward and Kate Shaw Jamison.
Sister Jamison, senior couple missionary in the Europe West Area, is a former member of the Primary General Board, stake Relief Society president and counselor, counselor in a ward Relief Society and Young Women presidency. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Merrill Edward and Edna May Hepworth Wood.

Course I would have added "And parents to the amazing Diana Jamison Free!" but that is just me!

Fun at home!

Fun at home!

I was able to get a week off of work and visit home! The best part about it was I surprised everyone! When I walked inside mom was in the kitchen. I snuck up on her, put my arms around her, and said "hi". She was totally surprised, and her reaction was definitely worth coming here for. Part of the time I spent at home, we decided to go camping in Canyon Creek. You can check out the pictures by clicking here.

Here are a bunch of photos of the last few days before Mike entered the MTC. It was great getting together with so many to wish this wonderful missionary the best. The drop off at the MTC was awesome - I'm green with envy that he gets to stay there!

Anyway, here they are for all to enjoy.

Josh's Conference Trip

Josh's Conference Trip

We had the chance to take Joshua to conference. As a result of that and other situations, Daniel and Becca also came up. Joseph came up with the Caltons but returned with us.

Here are some pictures of family and fun times in Paragonah and at conference and other random pictures!
